Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am writing to inform you of a forthcoming adjustment to our weekend Mass schedule, which will take effect on December 7th, 2025.
After prayerful consideration and a thorough period of consultation that included the Parish Pastoral Council, the Finance Council, and a survey that many of you generously completed, we have discerned that a modification to our current schedule is necessary to better serve the entirety of our community.
As our parish family continues to grow in faith and number, we want to accommodate everyone—our young families, seniors, and all those who have the right intention to seek the Lord. The new schedule is designed to provide greater flexibility and accommodate the diverse demands of modern life, ensuring that everyone in our community can find more opportunities to say "YES" to God's invitation in the celebration of the Eucharist, the source and summit of our faith.
The revised schedule for weekend Masses will be as follows:
Please note that our weekday Mass schedule and opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation remain unchanged at this time.
I understand that any change to established routines requires an adjustment. I humbly ask for your understanding and cooperation as we implement this new schedule with the sole purpose of enriching the spiritual well-being of our beloved parish community.
I believe these changes, will strengthen our communal worship and provide more opportunities for all members to encounter Christ in the liturgy.
I encourage you to visit our parish website at [https://stchristophermarana.org/] or contact the parish office at [520-682-3035] should you have any questions or require further clarification.
Thank you for your continued faith, dedication, and active participation in the life of St Christopher Catholic Parish. We look forward to worshipping with you under this new schedule.
May God bless you and your family abundantly.
In the peace of Christ,
Fr. Edson Elizarraras, Pastor
